Tottenham have made their move for Dominic Solanke and it looks as though they may end up signing the striker in the near future.

Indeed, a fee has reportedly been agreed for Solanke to join Tottenham, and a move could be imminent.

As you can imagine, Spurs supporters are very excited by the idea of Solanke joining Tottenham, but the view from Bournemouth isn’t that of excitement.

Indeed, according to The Mirror, Bournemouth are far from happy with how Tottenham have handled this one.

Why Bournemouth aren’t happy with Tottenham

According to The Mirror, Bournemouth are far from happy with Tottenham’s move for Dominic Solanke due to the timing.

Bournemouth are said to be very frustrated by the fact Spurs have left it so late in the day to make their move for Solanke.

Of course, we are just one week away from the start of the Premier League season.

Bournemouth had been building in pre-season with Solanke earmarked as one of their most important players, but now, they may have to go back to square one in their pre-season preparations.

Tottenham know how Bournemouth feel

Bournemouth are losing their star striker a week before the start of the season, and if there’s any team that can sympathise with this feeling, it’s Tottenham.

Let’s not forget, last season, Tottenham lost Harry Kane a day before the start of the Premier League season, and that disrupted many of their preparations.

However, Spurs started brilliantly without Kane, topping the Premier League table for the first few months of the season.

Bournemouth will be hoping to do the same, and while Solanke will be missed, under the guidance of Andoni Iraola, the Cherries could still get off to a strong start in the Premier League.

Solanke’s impending departure isn’t ideal, but there’s still reason to be optimistic if you’re a Bournemouth supporter.
