Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has found himself in the proverbial crossfire between Kyle Walker and Phil Foden.
The Gunners stopper is a regular in the England setup, having been in the squad for Euro 2020, the 2022 World Cup, and Euro 2024.
Likewise, Manchester City duo Walker and Foden are firmly in the Three Lions picture, so they come into contact with Ramsdale a fair bit on international duty.
On Wednesday, England’s official YouTube channel posted a video of the Three Lions midfielder ranking listing the best two-touch players in the nation’s setup.
The Arsenal goalkeeper was ranked D alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold, while Walker was placed on the E list alongside Kieran Trippier.

Kyle Walker not happy Aaron Ramsdale is above him in two-touch chart
Needless to say, Walker was not impressed by Foden’s decisions, and he was especially upset to be below Ramsdale in the chart.
“Oh my good gosh,” said the veteran defender. “Whoa, stop. I’ve seen Aaron Ramsdale above me!
“Nah, not one bit, not one bit am I having Aaron Ramsdale above me!”
Walker went on to explain how he’s “surprisingly quite good” at two-touch, as he plays it continuously at City.
What did Foden say about Ramsdale?
Foden said it was “difficult” to rank Ramsdale “because he’s a keeper, their job’s not to play two touch.”
However, he was eager to sing the Arsenal man’s praises, adding: “Obviously now you have to be technically very good as well from the back.
“So I feel like Rammers, when he gets involved with two-touch, he’s very good as well.
“I’m going to have to put him in D though because I’ve got to think about other players.”
What did Foden say about Walker?
Foden stressed that it wasn’t “personal” and that his teammate’s ranking on the E list is “just the way this list has gone”.
The midfielder said: “He’s going to hate me for this…
“He’s someone who always wants to get the two-touch going, get the ball, and get us going, and yeah he’s a leader, as a captain…
“But unfortunately, just the way this list has gone… sorry Walks, don’t take it personal please Kyle!”
Ramsdale linked with move away from Arsenal
All in all, the City duo delivered some good-natured banter, with Ramsdale sadly caught in the crossfire.
Speaking of Ramsdale, there’s a chance he may not even be an Arsenal player come the end of the month.
The £30million Gunners man is currently being linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bournemouth are said to be keen on Ramsdale, who is now second-choice behind David Raya.
