Who was your MOTM in Manchester City’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United?

Manchester United travelled to Manchester City in what was a huge fixture in terms of the race for top four. The two clubs started the evening with one point between them; Pep Guardiola’s side had the slight advantage coming into this tie sitting in fourth, while United lay in fifth.

The game was always expected to be tight and City were likely to dominate possession from the start as that’s the way Pep Guardiola’s side always approach football matches. Mourinho, on the other hand, was cynical and the Portuguese manager set his side up in a way that would stifle their opponents.

No one expected it to be as tight as it ended up, however. Both teams looked nervous and, while City did have the majority of the ball, they didn’t create many clear-cut chances.

The game became faster in the second half, yet it never became the thriller that it was expected to be. The only bit of action happened late on as Marouane Fellaini picked up two yellow cards in a minute. The Belgian committed two fouls on the half way line before headbutting Aguero to earn himself an early bath.

Gabriel Jesus then slotted the ball into the back of the net, but the linesman flag went up immediately as the Brazilian was correctly ruled offside.

Both teams have fixtures on the weekend, but first, who was your Man of the Match in Manchester United’s 0-0 draw with Manchester City?
