Who is Samed Yesil?
Bayer Leverkusen forward Samed Yesil looks set to be the latest player to join the Brendan Rodgers revolution.
The 18-year-old German attacker is expected to cost the Anfield side in the region of £1million.
He has impressed for his country at U18, U17 and U16 levels and for the price appears to be somewhat of a coup.
Yesil bagged six goals for Germany at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup and was one of the stars of the tournament, winning the silver shoe. He has 19 goals in 21 games at that level.
For his club last season Yesil scored 19 goals in 23 games for the under 19 side. He appeared once for the senior squad, coming off the bench in a 3-3 draw with Hertha BSC.
Now watch out on twitter, when the deal is made official we’ll let you know!
