Man City have suffered a major blow in their pursuit for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
According to the Telegraph, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has cut off all communications with City in regards to a deal for Kane. The Premier League champions have also had a £125m bid rejected for the attacker.
City are eager to sign the England captain. Moreover, Kane is open to leaving Spurs for a move up north to the blue half of Manchester. However, Levy is digging in his heels.

With Sergio Aguero leaving Man City in the summer, Kane has emerged as the club’s main option to replace the striker this window. However, Levy’s stubbornness is proving to be a problem.
Indeed, even with Kane wanting to leave, the attacker is no closer to departing north London than he was at the start of the transfer window.

And on social media, some Man City fans are fuming at Levy for being so resistant to letting Kane leave this summer. The window is due to shut in under two weeks time.
Here’s what some City supporters had to say about how Levy is approaching their interest with Kane on Twitter…

Kane could become City’s second signing of the window following the arrival of Jack Grealish.
