‘What’s the point?’: Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Eric Garcia links

Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter today as reports claim the club are now in the mix to sign Manchester City defender, Eric Garcia.

The young defender can leave City for free in the summer. It was widely expected he would join Barcelona, however, the Spanish giants have huge debt problems and could struggle to fund any sort of deal.

Mundo Deportivo has claimed that both Arsenal and PSG could look to capitalise on that and land Garcia ahead of Barca.

However, looking at the responses from some Arsenal fans on Twitter, it seems Garcia might not be the most welcome of signings. This, despite Sokratis leaving this week and others, such as Chambers and Mustafi, potentially going in the summer.

Normally Mikel Arteta has the trust of Arsenal fans. But on this occasion, it appears some Gunners supporters want Arteta to steer clear of signing Garcia, albeit for a few who claim he can be a good future player.
