Arsenal star William Saliba has once again been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
The Frenchman is already one of the best central defenders in world football despite only being 23 years of age. He is a phenomenal player and is destined for great things.
Arsenal are challenging for the Premier League title, and Saliba is a key part of their squad. Fans of the North London club don’t even want to think about losing their star defender.
But, very few players in the world say no to Real Madrid when they come calling, and Saliba could well be the same.
Arsenal star William Saliba’s feelings about Real Madrid revealed
Real Madrid have made William Saliba their priority target for the summer transfer window.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are in a spot of bother at the moment as three of their centre-backs – Antonio Rudiger, David Alaba and Eder Militao – are all injured at the moment.
The Galacticos boss will have to make do with what he has got until the end of the season, but he has big plans for the summer.
Saliba is very high on Real Madrid’s wish list and journalist Sacha Tavolieri has revealed on Sky Sports in Switzerland that talks between the player and the Spanish side have already taken place.
It has been claimed that Arsenal have slapped a £100 million price tag on Saliba, a figure if Real Madrid agree to pay would make it ‘the most significant financial operation ever carried out’ in their history.
As for Saliba’s stance, the report claims that the Arsenal defender ‘considers the Madrid club as the ultimate dream of his career’.
The prospect of playing with his good friend Kylian Mbappe is also said to be a ‘weighty argument in his thinking’ ahead of the summer transfer window.

Saliba transfer would break records at both Arsenal and Real Madrid
Arsenal have historically been terrible at selling players.
Folarin Balogun’s £35 million move to Monaco last summer is their record sale – they haven’t been able to make more from any of their players in the past.
If Saliba does leave, he will undoubtedly become the biggest sale in Arsenal’s history. The Frenchman would become Real Madrid’s most expensive signing too if the deal is closed at £100 million, beating Eden Hazard’s transfer.
To add to that, Saliba will also become the most expensive defender of all time. Manchester City’s Josko Gvardiol currently holds that record.
However, the Frenchman still has over two years left on his contract, and we’re sure Arsenal will do everything they possibly can to extend his stay at the club.
