Kingsley Coman to Arsenal is a transfer rumour that appears to be gaining a bit of traction at the moment.
The Bayern Munich star is said to be someone the Gunners are keen on. However, as with any transfer story, there are differing versions of this rumour coming from different sources.
Speaking on KS1 TV, Steve Kay has been discussing Coman as a potential Arsenal target and what he’s heard on this front.
According to the journalist, he’s been told that there isn’t that much to these Coman rumours at the moment. However, one transfer source did note that a move for Coman would make sense for Arsenal.
Kingsley Coman to Arsenal isn’t advanced
Kay shared what he’s heard about Coman and Arsenal.
“Yeah I did check it out this morning funnily enough. And what I was told is that there wasn’t much in it.” Kay said.
“The source I spoke to said that ‘it makes sense for Arsenal this one, especially on loan with an obligation to buy. It would make sense for Arsenal to be in for him.’” Kay said.
“But I haven’t heard anything concrete on it. A couple of seasons ago he actually turned down Arsenal, which wouldn’t have gone down well with Mikel Arteta.”

Kingsley Coman to Arsenal wouldn’t make much sense
Kingsley Coman joining Arsenal this summer isn’t a move that makes much sense.
Coman is looking to leave Bayern Munich as he wants to play more first-team football, but he wouldn’t necessarily get that luxury at Arsenal.
The Gunners already have Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard playing down the left wing, while Bukayo Saka is an option down the right.
Coman would, at best, be third or fourth choice on the wings for Arsenal, and that’s not what he wants, and Arsenal certainly don’t need a player with such huge wages as merely a rotation option.
This is a move that doesn’t seem all that likely this summer.
