Antonio Nusa could end up being Tottenham’s third signing of the January transfer window.
Spurs are in discussions over signing the young attacker, and this is a very intriguing signing to say the least.
At the age of just 18, Nusa is something of an unknown quantity, but Spurs’ data team have apparently been very impressed by the teenage attacker.
Indeed, speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, Dean Jones has shared what he’s heard from Tottenham about this player, and he says that those within Tottenham have been very impressed by his ball-carrying stats and his decision-making, claiming that those numbers really fit into Spurs’ data-led model at the moment.

Nusa’s numbers tick the boxes
Jones shared what he knows about the youngster.
“He’s great, he’s a really good player and I’m told that in terms of ball carrying, stats like that and his decision making really fits with the data-led scouting that is becoming more of a thing now at Tottenham than it has been in the past. He’s young and they’ve just signed Timo Werner. This is a deal they have in mind for the summer, so any agreement now will be an early agreement and loaning him back or just signing him for the summer,” Jones said.
Exciting
Whether or not Nusa proves to be a hit in the Premier League remains to be seen, but this is an exciting update.
There’s nothing in football that gets fans off their seat more than a good dribbler, and by the sounds of things, Nusa isn’t a player that is afraid of carrying the ball.
Of course, at the age of 18, it may take some time for this young man to hit his stride in the Premier League, but regardless of the impact he has, it sounds like he will be seriously entertaining to watch if he arrives at Tottenham.
