Liverpool players described Arne Slot’s meeting as ‘like going back to school’
According to the Daily Mail, some Liverpool players have described Slot’s team meetings as ‘like going back to school.’
Slot’s calm yet authoritative approach is admired by the group and it’s understood praise is a common theme of the meetings – which has created a harmonious atmosphere.
Though, that’s not to suggest he’s a happy clapper, in fact, the Dutchman places great emphasis on handing out feedback even if performances have been near faultless.
The 45-year-old has certainly found the right balance thus far and appears to have formed a terrific relationship with the dressing room.
Arne Slot is very meticulous
A Rotterdam-based source has described Slot as a ‘workaholic’ and noted just how meticulous his preparation before games is.
“He’s really into analysing opponents for hours and hours. “Feyenoord players always said, “Everything the manager predicted, we saw in the game”.
“Players are never surprised. Arne is a workaholic.”
