Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has identified Michy Batshuayi as a potential striker target this summer, according to a report from The Telegraph.
Batshuayi is an intriguing target for the Whites. He has not had the easiest time since moving to Chelsea for £33 million, only showing glimpses of his quality.

But he is a player that Bielsa knows well. The Argentinian managed the 27-year-old while he was in charge of Marseille.
So it may be that Bielsa is optimistic that he can get the best out of him should he bring him to Elland Road this summer.
What is interesting is that Bielsa would not be the only figure Batshuayi would be reunited with if he joined Leeds.
One of the most disappointing spells from the striker’s time on Chelsea’s books came when he moved to Valencia on loan.

Ultimately, Batshuayi would only score once in 15 league games. He actually ended up leaving the Mestalla ahead of schedule, moving to Crystal Palace.
It may not be a spell that the forward would look back on too fondly. But he did get the chance to play alongside a player he clearly admired.
Leeds striker target Batshuayi an admirer of Rodrigo Moreno
As noted by Football Espana, he expressed his excitement about playing with Rodrigo Moreno following his arrival.
“Mestalla is magnificent. Valencia have fantastic fans and their players are very good, with a lot of quality. For me, it’ll be great to share a team with Rodrigo,” Batshuayi said.
“Valencia and I are very ambitious and I want to win trophies with this club. Before talking about how many goals I’ll score, I want to give a good impression.”
Admittedly, Rodrigo’s best run of form came in the second-half of the campaign once Batshuayi had already moved on.
That may worry some Leeds fans. But of course, the key difference this time around would be that Bielsa would be in charge of the pair.
Rodrigo was outstanding in the final weeks of this past season. He ended the campaign with four goals in four games.
And Batshuayi enjoyed one of the best spells of his career while working under Bielsa.
So perhaps, Batshuayi will indeed get another opportunity to play with Rodrigo this summer.
