Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford faces an increasingly uncertain future at Old Trafford as the January transfer window edges ever closer.
The 27-year-old scored an impressive 30 goals for Manchester United in the 2022/23 campaign but has not been able to build on it and has struggled for form of late.
Rashford was substituted against Viktoria Plzen in midweek, coming off in the 56th minute to some boos after struggling in the Europa League clash.
Now, speculation is doing the rounds suggesting Manchester United are prepared to sell the England international, as reported by The Telegraph.
Earlier this season, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville debated Rashford, the latter defending the player and hoping he could get back to form.
Carragher then shared what he’s “always said” about Rashford as he suggested the Red Devils need better attacking players if they are to win silverware.

Jamie Carragher suggests Marcus Rashford cannot be Manchester United’s best attacking player
Neville and Carragher were speaking on Sky Sports News after Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Man United in September.
Neville said: “Marcus Rashford has got to get back to being that guy who makes those runs in between full-back and centre-back on this side of the pitch, that gives Trent Alexander-Arnold real problems today, and start slotting it into that far corner.
“If he can score 15-20 goals a season from this left side, Manchester United are going to have a half-decent season.”
Carragher replied: “I’ve always said it, I think Rashford is a really good player, he’s caused Liverpool problems in the past…
“But if Marcus Rashford is Manchester United’s best attacking player, they’re not winning a Premier League or a European Cup.”
Man United’s stance towards Rashford ahead of January transfer window
TBR Football understand that Man United are happy with Rashford – and he is keen to impress Amorim with no decision taken on his future right now.
It has also been reported that the Red Devils would not sell Rashford for less than £70million.
With Rasmus Hojlund now Man United’s main attacking player, this should take the pressure off Rashford, and hopefully he can rediscover his best form.
Rashford only scored eight goals in 43 appearances last season, which is not the kind of form befitting a £350,000-a-week footballer, but there’s definitely a player in there.
