TBR Football can exclusively reveal Jacob Ramsey’s stance on joining West Ham United or Everton if he leaves Aston Villa this summer.

The Englishman is one of Villa’s most talented players, but having started just 19 games in the Premier League and just four times in the Champions League last season, there has been speculation surrounding his future at the club.

TBR revealed back in April that Ramsey is more likely to leave Aston Villa than Morgan Rogers, with a number of clubs eyeing a move for the versatile attacker.

West Ham and Everton are among the clubs interested in Ramsey, but there is bad news for those two clubs.

Exclusive: Jacob Ramsey has no interest in joining West Ham United or Everton

TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, understands that Jacob Ramsey is open to leaving Aston Villa, but he won’t join just any club.

We can reveal that the 24-year-old, who has entered the final two years of his contract at Villa Park, has shunned interest from a number of clubs already.

Ramsey is open to leaving Aston Villa this summer if a good opportunity arises, while Villa’s stance on his future has softened.

A new deal has been discussed, but to this point, it has not progressed, and interest has emerged.

West Ham United, Brentford and Everton have all made enquiries, but TBR is told that there is ‘no interest’ from Ramsey’s side in pursuing a move to any of those clubs.

The Aston Villa star has previously been watched closely by Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle, and he would only leave Birmingham if the opportunity matched his own ambitions.

It remains to be seen if his stance changes in the coming weeks.

Bailey told TBR: “Jacob Ramsey is a fantastic player, and it is no wonder clubs are asking, but it is going to take the right opportunity to get him. He has serious World Cup ambitions.

“And Villa too, if they did consider a sale, it would take a significant offer.”

Tottenham are keeping tabs on Jacob Ramsey

Tottenham’s move to sign Morgan Gibbs-White ended in disappointment as the midfielder penned a new deal at Nottingham Forest.

Thomas Frank’s side have several other options on their wish list, and TBR revealed that Ramsey is one of the names Spurs are considering.

The North Londoners are also looking at Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott, Manchester City’s James McAtee and Alejandro Garnacho of Manchester United.

It remains to be seen if Tottenham will make a move for Ramsey, or any of the other names above, in the coming weeks.
