Guglielmo Vicario was absolutely furious after Chelsea scored their fourth goal against Tottenham Hotspur last night.

That’s according to Football.London, with the outlet sharing how the goalkeeper reacted following Chelsea’s flurry of goals in stoppage time on Monday evening.

Tottenham suffered their first defeat of the Premier League season as they lost 4-1 at home to the Blues last night.

Ange Postecoglou’s side was forced to play a large chunk of the game with nine men following Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie both being shown red.

Romero was sent off for a reckless challenge of Enzo Fernandez in the 33rd minute and gave away a penalty which saw Cole Palmer level the scoring.

Udogie was then sent off for a second yellow card in the 55th minute after narrowly avoiding a straight red card in the first half.

Spurs also lost Micky van de Ven to injury which led to a make-shift centre-back partnership of Emerson Royal and Eric Dier.

Of course, this led to Chelsea creating plenty of opportunities but Guglielmo Vicario kept them at bay right up until the 75th minute.

Nicolas Jackson handed the Blues a 2-1 lead and went on to help himself to a hat-trick in stoppage time, despite a valiant effort from Spurts.

And it seems that Vicario was furious with his defenders after shipping two goals in the final moments of the game.

What Vicario did after Chelsea scored their fourth goal vs Tottenham

Football.London reports that Vicario was ‘raging’ after Jackson completed his hat-trick in stoppage time.

The Italian ran out of his goal and screamed at his teammates after Chelsea went through on goal far too easily.

It’s easy to understand why Vicario was so frustrated after Tottenham had managed to keep the score at 2-1 right up until 94th minute.

Spurs even had a couple of opportunities to level the scoring, with Son Heung-Min and Rodrigo Bentancur going close.

Eric Dier also had the ball in the back of the net but was marginally offside after Bentancur’s flicked header from a set-piece.

But Spurs will be proud of their display on the night, especially Vicario. The 27-year-old made a series of brilliant saves and played the role of sweeper-keeper exceptionally well.
