With the news that Bergwijn is eyeing a move away from PSV at the end of the season, West Ham’s luck could be in – but what would that mean for the injured Andriy Yarmolenko?

Does Pellegrini not trust the Ukrainian?

The fact that West Ham have been linked with Bergwijn suggests that Manuel Pellegrini may not feel completely comfortable relying on Yarmolenko.

It’s been all quiet regarding his potential return, suggesting that he is set to miss a lot of, if not all of the remaining games this season.

Yarmolenko arrived with a reputation for being injury prone, so it’d be unsurprising if the Hammers did move for Bergwijn.

The exciting Dutchman would likely relegate Yarmolenko to the bench, with Samir Nasri Felipe Anderson, Michail Antonio and Manuel Lanzini also in their for competition.
