‘What does he have to do!!’: Arsenal fans react as Gabriel Martinelli misses out against Olympiakos

Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter to the latest XI announced by Mikel Arteta for this evening’s clash with Olympiakos.

Mikel Arteta has opted for a strong looking line up with a midfield of Granit Xhaka, Mo Elneny, and Dani Ceballos all involved. It’s a midfield which could see Ceballos operate further forward.

Aubameyang also returns, while Emile-Smith Rowe keeps his place in the XI with Nicolas Pepe coming into the fold in the wide areas.

However, one glaring omission yet again was Gabriel Martinelli. The young Brazilian has again been left out by Mikel Arteta, after a week where the Gunners boss called on his young forward to be patient.

Arsenal fans, then, have been reacting on Twitter to the news that Martinelli is not involved – at least in the starting XI – and it’s safe to say some are less than impressed.

With the Gunners in the driving seat against the Greek side, some felt it was a chance for Martinelli to get a start. Here, then, is how some Arsenal supporters reacted.
