Tottenham Hotspur are in talks to sign Antonio Nusa from Club Brugge, and the Belgian side have made one specific demand from Spurs.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side mean business in this window. They’ve already signed Timo Werner on loan and Radu Dragusin permanently, and they have their sights set on Nusa now. But, they may not be able to bring the talented youngster to North London till the summer.

Club Brugge want Tottenham to send Antonio Nusa back on loan
Antonio Nusa is one of the finest young talents in Europe at the moment, and Tottenham are right to target him.
The Norwegian, still just 18 years old, has impressed for club and country over the last few months. He is a fine talent, and it’s only a matter of time before he moves to a big club.
Fabrizio Romano claimed this morning that Tottenham have entered talks with Club Brugge to sign Nusa. He says Spurs are ‘pushing’ to get this deal done.
There is no formal bid yet, but The Athletic reveal this morning that the Belgian side are seeking €30 million (£25.7m) to let their star youngster go.
That, however, is not their only demand. Brugge also reportedly want Tottenham to ‘guarantee’ that Nusa will be loaned back to them until the end of the season.
Romano, in his tweet this morning, also confirmed that Nusa does not want to move in this month’s transfer window.
Tottenham should get this deal done
Antonio Nusa is a fantastic young player, and he is destined for big things in the coming years.
Romano has revealed that many clubs want to sign Nusa, and Spurs are apparently anticipating a move from Chelsea too. However, Postecoglou’s side are the ones who have opened talks to get him, which shows they are really serious.
Club Brugge’s demand to have him back on loan is not an unreasonable one. He’s still young and is a very key player for them, and staying in Belgium for six more months could benefit him. Tottenham have plenty of attackers in their squad already, so they don’t really need Nusa right away either.
It is a no-brainer for Tottenham to accept Brugge’s demand if that’s the only thing that’s holding up this deal.
