Over the past few days it’s become apparent that Tottenham Hotspur are determined to make Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke their new front man.
Spurs’ fresh interest in Solanke was reported at the tail end of last week, a 26-year-old who bagged 19 Premier League goals last season.
Tottenham are now intensifying their interest in Solanke, hoping that the Englishman can be Ange Postecgolou’s perfect fit.
Spurs reportedly hope that with the addition of Solanke that they will move captain Son Heung-min back to the left-wing, the position they consider his strongest.
TBR Football recently shared that Richarlison wanted to leave Tottenham, another reason why signing a striker like Solanke would be a good idea.
Of course, losing Solanke from a Bournemouth point of view would be pretty devastating.

Andoni Iraola has added exciting talent Dean Huijsen to his ambitious project this summer, also securing permanent moves for Luis Sinisterra and Enes Unal.
However, the club may not have anticipated that Unal could potentially be their new first-choice striker heading into the new season.
Bournemouth still hoping to keep Dominic Solanke amid Tottenham interest
All that being said, Fabrizio Romano has now shared an update on X providing the latest scoop on Solanke potentially heading to north London.
Romano said that initial talks had taken place between the two clubs, with Spurs aware of Solanke’s £65m release clause.
But importantly, the journalist stated that Bournemouth still hope to keep Solanke this summer.
He shared: “Tottenham started exploring deal for Dominic Solanke last week, as exclusively revealed.
“He’s on the shortlist and Spurs are well informed on the release clause (around £65m).
“Initial talks took place, Bournemouth still hope to keep Solanke.”
Of course, should Spurs meet Solanke’s release clause the club would be powerless to stop him leaving – unless they could agree a new contract of their own.
However, Solanke is keen to join Tottenham, hoping for the chance to impress at a top club having largely failed to do so at Chelsea and Liverpool in the past.
Any deal will be expensive for Tottenham, who may still hope to negotiate a lower fee should they offer an agreeable payment structure.
But fortunately in that regard, Tottenham can sign one midfield target for only £13m this summer.
