A number of Leeds United fans have reacted to the club post confirming that close to 9,000 Whites supporters were in attendance for Fridayβs Under-23s game at Elland Road.
Leeds shared a post on Friday night saying 8,943 fans were at the ground for the Premier League 2 meeting with Arsenal U23s.
This season, the Whites U23s are splitting their home matches between Elland Road, Thorp Arch and Yorkβs LNER Community Stadium.
Fridayβs match was the U23sβ first at LS11 this season, and a big crowd was expected.
Here is what some Leeds fans made of the superb attendance figure:
Leeds were quick out of the starting blocks against Arsenal and took the lead through Sam Greenwood in the 19th minute.
Crysencio Summerville won the ball back, surged into the box and set up his teammate for a powerful finish.
However, Salah Oulad MβHand equalised midway through the first half, pouncing on a defensive mistake and netting from outside the box.
Leeds then regained the advantage on 34 minutes, Lewis Bate setting up Max Dean for a calm finish at the near post.

Mark Jacksonβs charges led 2-1 at the break, but Arsenal surged back in the second half to record a 4-2 win.
Mika Biereth equalised in the 46th minute, Folarin Balogun netted a 55th-minute penalty and Joel Lopez struck five minutes from time.
The result sees Leeds end the day 10th in the 14-team Premier League 2 table, with 12 points from 10 games.
