‘What a talent’: Celtic fans laud David Turnbull following Motherwell win

Celtic picked up three points this afternoon as they saw off Motherwell at Parkhead to keep a firm grip on second place in the table.

An early goal from Stephen Welsh set the Bhoys on their way, before Odsonne Edouard added a second just after the break to more or less put the game to bed. And although Allan Campbell did get one back, it wasn’t enough for Motherwell.

A number of Celtic players put in good performances in fairness today. Edouard was good up front, while Callum McGregor was on good form again from the midfield area.

However, it was the performance of David Turnbull that caught the eye of some Celtic fans on social media. Twitter was full of comments praising the midfielder during and following the game.

Turnbull has quickly become a key player for the Bhoys and looked class again today. Those thoughts were resonated on Twitter, as a number of Celtic fans took time to sing his praises.
