Tottenham fans have taken to social media to praise midfielder Oliver Skipp after the 20-year-old academy graduate was nominated into Sky Sports’ Championship Team of the Season.
Sky Sports confirmed their Team of the Season via Football Daily with Skipp slotting into the midfield alongside Barnsley star Alex Mowatt, with the likes of Max Aarons, Emi Buendia and Ivan Toney also making the XI as Norwich City clinched promotion back up to the Premier League after being relegated back down to the Championship last year.

Skipp was a crucial part of Daniel Farke’s Norwich team who ended the season on an astonishing 97 points, with the England youth international playing in 45 of the 46 Championship games this campaign, and for Tottenham supporters on social media, they were delighted to see the youngster make the Team of the Season as selected by Sky Sports.
Here’s what some Spurs fans had to say on Twitter about Skipp’s inclusion in the Championship Team of the Season…
