‘What a player’: Rangers fans laud Ryan Jack after win over St Johnstone

Rangers ground out another win this evening as they saw off St Johnstone to further extend their lead at the top of the table.

The Gers got their rewards for a patient display when Ianis Hagi scored just after half-time, and the goal proved enough for Steven Gerrard’s men to get over the line in the end.

It means the Gers are now 23 points clear of Celtic in second as they close in on the title north of the border under the former Liverpool midfielder. And a number of Rangers players put in good performances, too. But one who caught the eye on Twitter it seems was midfielder, Ryan Jack.

The 28-year-old provided the assist for the goal and once again showed his class throughout. And that was the theme in the comments on social media, as a number of Reds fans sang the praises of the Scotland ace.
