‘What a player’: Rangers fans laud performance of Leon Balogun against Lech

Rangers grinded out another win last night in the Europa League to make it two out of two this term, with a 1-0 scoreline enough to see off Lech at Ibrox.

Alfredo Morelos came off the bench to snatch all three points for Steven Gerrard’s men, who were once again solid in their approach and took the biggest chance of the game when it came their way.

The Gers look firmly on course this season to deny Celtic a tenth straight SPL title, as Gerrard seems to have got his ways of working and methods firmly drilled into the players.

And one of the key players for Gerrard this season has been 32-year-old defender, Leon Balogun. The Nigeria international was in fine form once more last  night, catching the eye of a number of Rangers fans on social media.
