Liverpool fans have been letting their feelings be known on Twitter after a report from The Athletic today detailed why Andy Robertson was shown red against Tottenham, and Harry Kane wasn’t for two bad tackles.
Kane not being given a red for his harsh tackle in the first half left Jurgen Klopp fuming. The Liverpool boss protested against Paul Tierney following the game and was visibly annoyed. However, with the game ending 2-2, both managers simply need to move on.

But that doesn’t mean fans need to necessarily do so. Liverpool fans became aware of the report from the Athletic this morning. And it’s safe to say there wasn’t too many happy Reds. It’s suggested that officials are content with their decision, claiming that because Robertson was already airborne, Kane’s tackle didn’t endanger him.
Of course, seeing Robertson sent off in the second half for not much more was a harsh pill to swallow. And Liverpool fans have been making their feelings known on Twitter about the issue.
Here, then, is how some Reds fans reacted to report explaining why Robertson saw red, and Kane didn’t, for their respective tackles.
