Celtic supporters are delighted after drawing FC Midtjylland for their opening UEFA Champions League qualifier.
The Hoops will face off against the Danish giants in the second qualifying round of the Champions League.

New Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou will be eager to make an impact on fans. And progression to the Champions League group stages will be a great start for the Australian coach.
Celtic have not competed in the Champions League group stages since 2017. Furthermore, the Glaswegian side have crashed out of the qualifying phase of the competition for the past three years.

Indeed, the club’s failures in Europe in recent years have been a big sticking point for supporters. And Celtic will have their work cut out against Midtjylland, who made it to the group stages last season.
Despite this, lots of Celtic fans on social media were delighted with the draw and are confident that Postecoglou can lead the club to the next round of qualifying.
