Arsenal are reportedly close to completing their first signing of the summer in the form of R.S.C. Anderlecht midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga.
According to Voetballkrant, the Gunners have reached an agreement with the Belgian club for the 21-year-old midfielder. Lokonga Has been on Arsenal’s radar for some time since the opening of the transfer window.

Arsenal will pay Anderlecht €17.5m (£15m) for Lokonga. Furthermore, the deal could potentially reach €22.5m (£18.9m) if the Gunners met certain clauses in add ons.
Fabrizio Romano also reports that Lokonga is close to joining Arsenal. Benfica defender Nuno Tavares is also on the verge of making the switch to the north London side.

The Gunners are also likely to sign Brighton and Hove Albion defender Ben White. According to the Athletic, Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal for the England international.
Indeed, it appears that Lokonga will become Arsenal’s first signing of the summer. Moreover on social media, fans are hyped that the Belgian is seemingly on the verge of joining the club.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Matteo Guendouzi and Granit Xhaka are close to leaving the north London side. The French youngster is a target for Marseille, whilst the Swiss international is likely to join AS Roma following Euro 2020.
