West Ham United star Declan Rice has told Spencer FC that Liverpool midfielder Fabinho is the world’s best player in the defensive midfield position that they both play.
The Brazilian has been an outstanding signing for Jurgen Klopp’s men. BBC Sport reported that the Reds agreed to sign the 25-year-old in a deal that could cost up to £43 million.

He helped Liverpool win the Champions League in his first season, while they also went agonisingly close to winning the Premier League.
And he has started in all but one of their league games so far this season. Klopp’s men have made a perfect start in the top flight, sitting five points clear of Manchester City and nine clear of third place West Ham.

And one of the Hammers’s stars suggested that he is a massive fan of the former Monaco man as he was asked to name the best player in the world in his position.
“At the moment, in the world, the best player in my position is probably Fabinho. Champions League winner, adapted to the Premier League really well. Strong, powerful, sees a pass, reads the game well. Yeah, I’m going to have to say Fabinho,” he told Spencer FC.
With so much attacking quality in Liverpool’s ranks, Fabinho clearly plays a vital role. He is integral to the balance of the side, and deserves credit for helping the Reds keep the best defensive record in the league.
It would perhaps be fair to suggest that Fabinho does not get the plaudits that he deserves. Rice, for one, clearly feels that he deserves more praise.
