There is definitely a feeling that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s potential move to West Ham United makes sense at this point.

Inevitable?

The Express claim that West Ham are interested in the Liverpool midfielder, after he has fallen out of favour.

Liverpool are thought to be willing to part company with the England international.

And there is a feeling that the 28-year-old could well turn up at the London Stadium at this point.

Good signing

If West Ham were to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain there would be little doubting that he would have the quality to make an impact there.

However, Oxlade-Chamberlain’s issue has been staying fit.

The Liverpool man has spent far too much time on the treatment table, which has led to him failing to hold down a first-team place.

If he was brought to West Ham it is likely that he would be immediately instated into their starting line-up.

And the pressure would be on him to have an impact, as West Ham may need to inject some spark into their attacking play, if Jesse Lingard doesn’t return.
