The return of the Premier League from the international break brings with it a London derby as West Ham play host to Tottenham.

For the Hammers, it’s a chance for them to build some momentum after their 3-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest last time out, which gave Graham Potter a first win of the campaign.

It won’t be easy for West Ham to register another win, though, as they take on London rivals Tottenham next up.

Spurs, under the guidance of Thomas Frank, have two wins and one defeat so far in the Premier League, as they look to improve upon last season’s dismal league campaign.

Tottenham’s defeat to Bournemouth last time will give the new manager plenty to think about in a trip across the capital.

So, with that said, here’s a look at everything you need to know ahead of West Ham vs Tottenham.

West Ham vs Tottenham prediction

Tottenham have faced three very different challenges in their opening three games of the season, with Frank learning more about his team as he goes.

In West Ham, Spurs find a team who could look to soak up pressure and hit them on the counter in the same devastating fashion they managed against Nottingham Forest.

The question is whether Tottenham will have enough to break through a resolute defence, while keeping their own backline secure.

Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Tottenham.
