West Ham United have recovered well this season to sit 10th in the league despite a tricky start.
Boss Manuel Pellegrini oversaw four straight Premier League defeats at the start of the campaign and a long season looked on the horizon.
The Chilean has led the Hammers through clearer waters however and finally, they can start to look up.

Some recent comments from Pellegrini will excite the West Ham faithful for the future.
During the 2018/19 campaign, the Hammers have struggled with injuries to their star performers, in particular, their playmakers.
Losing such creativity has hampered the ex-Manchester City boss in his quest to play his desired style of football.
Throughout his career, Pellegrini hasn’t been known for unattractive football but at times this season, it has been a case of needs must.
Misfortune
Pellegrini has Manuel Lanzini, Samir Nasri, Andrei Yarmolenko and Jack Wilshere in his squad.
Quality players on their day, but 11 appearances between all four of them tells the story of West Ham’s campaign.
The Hammers’ boss hopes fortunes will change in the future.
He told The Independent: “Those players make a difference, especially for the strikers. When you don’t have them, you must try to find another way of playing. But we have playmakers here, and I hope some day we are going to see all of them playing together.”
The thought of the aforementioned quartet playing together is mouthwatering for West Ham supporters.

This sounds like clear evidence that Pellegrini himself if unhappy with the style of football that he has been forced to instill on his team this season.
Pellegrini seemingly can’t wait to unleash the philosophies that served him so well at Villarreal, Malaga and Manchester City upon his West Ham team, and that bodes very well for the future.
