West Ham United left it late to secure their passage into round four of the FA Cup. The Hammers defeated Gillingham 2-0 thanks to late goals from Pablo Zabaleta and Pablo Fornals.
David Moyes made it two wins from as many games with a professional display against Steve Evans’ team.
It means the Hammers avoid the embarrassment of last season where League One AFC Wimbledon thrashed them in humiliating fashion.

West Ham played well throughout the contest and Moyes looks to have the team focused once more.
One man who appears to be getting up to scratch with the demands of English football is Pablo Fornals.
The Spaniard arrived in the summer for £24 million (BBC). His arrival from Villarreal caught the eye, with the youngster boasting an armoury of tricks and flicks.
His goal at Priestfield Stadium was his second of the campaign, whilst he has also claimed three assists.

Of course, supporters will hope for more as the season progresses but there are signs that the 23-year-old is getting up to speed.
Following yesterday’s win and a goal for Fornals, supporters took to Twitter to rave about the Spaniard.
