West Ham United newbie Pablo Fornals admits transfer has helped his performances
West Ham United midfielder Pablo Fornals has confirmed his confirmed transfer has helped him find his best form at the European Under-21 Championships this summer.
Fornals has been in fine form for the Spanish side, helping them to a semi-final with France this evening.
Speaking to Cadena Cope, he expressed why the peace of mind that has come with securing his long-term future has helped him find form. Even if, as he states, there is one pressing matter for him to still address.
“Closing my future by signing for West Ham has taken a burden off, I just need to find a house in London.”
As reported by The Guardian, the Hammers paid a fee of £24 million for the Spanish under-21 international. He had long been targeted by several clubs before deciding to join West Ham from Villarreal.

Fornals has been one of the stars for Spain’s youngsters in Italy this summer.
He scored a breathtaking winning goal against Belgium to keep Spain in contention in the group stages.
Fornals also scored in the 5-0 win against Poland that booked Spain’s semi-final spot.
West Ham fans will hope Fornals can bring this form to West Ham next season. If anyone can find him a house before the start of the season, he might even go to another level.
