Manuel Pellegrini is coming under increasing pressure as West Ham United manager after failing to win a Premier League match in their last seven attempts – and Hammers fans have considered Leeds United’s Marcelo Bielsa as a replacement.

West Ham fans were hopeful of their side ending such a poor run against Jose Mourinho’s side in the Portuguese manager’s first game in charge. However, Spurs quickly took a 3-0 lead through Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura.

West Ham did make the scoreline look more respectable as substitute Michail Antonio lashed home an effort before Angelo Ogbonna scored a consolation deep into injury time. Spurs held on to a 3-2 win, condemning West Ham to 17th in the table.

There has been plenty of talk of Pellegrini’s spell in charge ending. Indeed, David Moyes has been linked with a return to the London Stadium to replace Pellegrini – after the former Manchester City man took over from Moyes.

Bielsa, meanwhile, is working wonders with Leeds United in the Championship. Despite not spending a penny in the summer, Leeds sit at the top of the Championship table and have won their last four matches.

Nicknamed ‘El Loco’ for his crazy antics that saw him get involved in Spygate but also win the Best FIF Fairplay Awards last season, West Ham fans want to see their club consider replacing Pellegrini with Bielsa in the coming weeks.
