Reported West Ham target, Youssef En-Nesyri, has won the praise of teammate Fernando, who has described the forward as being in ‘an important moment’ in his career.
The Daily Star claimed in January that En-Nesyri was set to be the subject of a whopping £32m bid by the Hammers. However, a move never materialised as West Ham instead opted to make a loan move for Jesse Lingard.

However, En-Nesyri is bound to remain on the Hammers’ radar in some capacity. And with the summer window approaching in just a few short months, West Ham fans will be pleased to read Sevilla teammate Fernando’s comments on the Moroccan forward.
“He’s in a very important moment in his career,” Fernando told Goal.
“He’s doing things very well, he’s listening a lot to his team-mates and he’s scoring goals, which is important for a striker. We are very happy because he’s helping us a lot.”
En-Nesyri has notched 13 times this season in an impressive campaign in La Liga. The Hammers, meanwhile, sold Sebastien Haller in the January window but opted not to bring in a direct replacement.

However, Michail Antonio’s injury worries are bound to prompt David Moyes into action come the summer.
TBR View: West Ham should keep up this pursuit, En-Nesyri looks class
En-Nesyri looks every bit the quality forward the Hammers might be missing.
He’s a brilliant finisher, has a bit of pace about him, and excellent movement at the top of the pitch. In David Moyes’ more free-flowing new system, he could flourish.
It’s exciting times to be a Hammer at the moment. Signing En-Nesyri in the summer can only enhance that excitment.
