West Ham are reportedly interested in raiding Chelsea to sign striker Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window, but the Hammers face plenty of competition including Tottenham and David Beckham’s Inter Miami – and Hammers fans have reacted.
Giroud, 34, has continued to show this season that he still knows where the back of the net is. Two goals in eight appearances for Chelsea – seven of which have come from the bench – have helped keep the ex-Arsenal man’s stock high.
Not only that, but the target man has also scored five goals for France this season. However, the French ace is in the final year of his contract – and his future is expected to be a big talking point when it comes to the January transfer window.

CalcioMercato have claimed that West Ham are interested in raiding Chelsea for the £110,000-a-week (Spotrac) striker – but the Hammers also face competition from Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham, and three other big-money clubs.
Antonio Conte is interesting in raiding former side Chelsea for Giroud, while PSG could look to bring Giroud back to his home country. Inter Miami and David Beckham are also said to be interested in bringing Giroud to the MLS.
Hammers fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Giroud is a target for their club, and many think he would be a great signing for their club – despite the presence of Sebastian Haller and Michail Antonio.
