It has been a tricky recent period for West Ham in the wake of the Marko Arnautovic transfer uncertainty, but the 1-1 draw they earned against Liverpool last night was the perfect response.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side showed their unity, spirit and togetherness at the London Stadium last night, coming back from Sadio Mane’s first half goal to gather a deserved point.
Michail Antonio got the goal, but the entire team deserves credit for their performance; a tireless defensive display was married with frequent counter attacks and on another night, the hosts could have taken all three points at the London Stadium.
Robert Snodgrass offered creativity and work-rate in equal measure and that earned him a fair amount of praise from the supporters, who have enjoyed his resurgence at the club under Pellegrini.

He has worked hard to revive his Hammers career and with midfield injuries taking hold, Snodgrass has stepped up and did so again last night.
It was an impressive display on a night that should spell the start of an end to the season where the Hammers can focus on pushing as high up the table as possible without the threat of relegation and the fans are clearly enjoying it again…
