London rivals Tottenham and West Ham United could be set to do battle in the quest to sign Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yokuslu, according to Turkish Football.
The La Liga club have only just avoided relegation this season. Yokuslu’s form, however, has still seen interest emerge from the Premier League.
The defensive midfielder has played 31 games this season, scoring twice. He only signed for the Spaniards last summer for a fee of £7 million, according to the Malta Independent.
A combative player, Yokuslu boasts impressive technical ability; whilst he is comfortable with the ball at his feet.

After playing for them for just one season, it is likely that Celta will want to recoup a profit on what they paid for Yokuslu.
West Ham and Spurs are set for big changes during the transfer window. It remains to be seen if either will launch a serious bid for the Turkey international.
TBR Verdict
Both interested parties will be looking to bolster their midfield ranks this summer. Whether either does pursue Yokuslu will probably depend on finances.
For West Ham, the finances will certainly be tighter than they are at Spurs. You wouldn’t expect the Hammers to go splashing out a massive amount on the unknown quantity, as Pellegrini will want to add some household names too.

The lure of Champions League football with Spurs could be telling. Yokuslu has already had a taste for the international stage and he would probably relish the chance to play among Europe’s elite.
Yokuslu is only 25 and there is lots of time for him to develop. Whoever obtains his services will probably get themselves a decent player who should be capable of having an impact on the Premier League.
