West Ham United are being linked with a move for AC Milan winger Suso.
According to Calciomercato, the Hammers could become interested in the Spaniard in January along with fellow Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Suso has made a sluggish start to 2019/19, contributing just one goal and one assist in 11 games so far.
The player recently parted ways with his agent, and the Rossoneri are waiting for him to get a new representative before having discussions about his future at San Siro.
West Ham have been struggling of late, having failed to win any of their last seven games in all competitions.
Suso is certainly a quality player despite his slow start this term, and would most likely improve the Hammers in the final third – but his signing would be a real frustration for one of the club’s most promising youngsters.
TBR’s view – Holland deserves a chance
Young winger Nathan Holland has been in fine form for the club’s U23s this season.
He’s scored eight goals and made four assists in 11 appearances, which is the kind of form that should surely have caught Manuel Pellegrini’s attention.
Holland featured in the shock 4-0 Carabao Cup defeat to Oxford United for only his second-ever first-team appearance for the club – his first coming in the same competition in 2017/18.
There has been plenty of clamour from the fans over the 21-year-old, and a January move for ex-Liverpool winger Suso would surely further complicate his way into the first-team.
