Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott put on an impressive display on Tuesday, despite his side falling to a 5-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday. At just 16-years-old, he is unlikely to break into the Liverpool first-team any time soon. Should West Ham explore the possibility of bringing him in on-loan?
The Hammers have struggled to score goals of late, after Sebastien Haller’s early season form dried up. The amount of attacking output from the wide positions has been exceptionally disappointing and Elliott could help add to this.

Robert Snodgrass, Felipe Anderson, and Pablo Fornals have a combined two goals and nine assists in a combined 43 Premier League appearances this season. These numbers are not as high as many would hope for, considering the talent and experience they possess.
Elliott could bring a new dimension to the Hammers attack. He appears to be a modern-day wide midfielder, drifting in from wide positions to find space in the No.10 position, between the opposition’s midfield and defence.

He looked at home in a first-team fixture despite his age and caused Villa problems despite the resounding defeat. The exciting youngster was at the heart of most good things Liverpool did throughout the game.
Signing the youngster on-loan for the remainder of the season could get the best out of underperforming players. Bringing in a hungry young talent like Elliott could prove a good move for Manuel Pellegrini.
