West Ham should consider rapid £50k-a-week defender, PL club will reportedly allow loan - TBR View

Manchester United will reportedly allow Axel Tuanzebe to leave Old Trafford on loan this summer, something which should put West Ham on red alert.

If you look at the Hammers squad, signing a centre-back should be a priority.

David Moyes’ side have the added fixtures that comes with European football next season. In addition, they need more options in defence due to the fact they play a 3-4-3 system at times.

Fabian Balbuena leaving the Irons this summer does leave a gap.

Tuanzebe is a player that should peak the interest of West Ham.

West Ham should join race for Axel Tuanzebe

Tuanzebe has been spoken about in extremely high regard since coming through the Man United academy, but it feels like the best is yet to come from him.

He’s a centre-back by trade that unbelievable pace that can see him match most. Additionally, he can slot in at right-back if needed.

The youngster has done little wrong during 37 appearances for English giants Man United, but unfortunately they’ve come over a long period of time.

He also had a brilliant loan spell a few years ago in the Championship with Aston Villa.

West Ham boss David Moyes should try call in a favour at former employers Man United to bring Tuanzebe to the London Stadium.

It could turn out to be a brilliant deal for whoever gets him.

He’s got some European experience under his belt, and there is every chance he could improve the Hammers XI.
