West Ham United are reportedly mulling over a new bid for Club Brugge midfielder Hans Vanaken.
Het Nieuwsblad (via Voetbal24), claim the Hammers are ready to go back in for the 28-year-old next month, after reportedly seeing an offer rejected in the last transfer window.
Vanaken is enjoying a fine campaign over in Belgium.

The star has scored five goals and made six assists in 18 league games, and there is belief he is ready to perform on a bigger stage.
West Ham have enjoyed a great start to 2020/21, but fans know the squad needs strengthening next month if the club is to try and maintain a good level.
David Moyes has done well with what he’s got, but needs backing in January if ambitions of a top-half finish, or even more, are to be realised.
TBR’s View – Soucek success should tempt West Ham over Vanaken
The Irons appear to have found a gem in Tomas Soucek, which is why they shouldn’t have any qualms about Vanaken.

Like Soucek before his move to London, Vanaken is playing in an obscure league and could be really well suited to the Premier League.
He’s even taller than Soucek, and seemingly has an even better eye for goal having bagged 78 in 268 games for Brugge.
Squad depth will be key in this hectic season, and West Ham shouldn’t think twice about making that second bid for Vanaken, who thinks London is ‘beautiful’ and is ‘charmed’ by the Iron’s interest according to Het Nieuwsblad.
