'Hand us the title now': West Ham fans buzzing after Pablo Fornals scores stunner
West Ham United sent out a message to their Premier League rivals last week with the £24 million signing of Pablo Fornals.
The mesmerising midfielder arrived at the London Stadium from Villarreal and offers plenty of potential.
A 23-year-old attacking midfielder, the Spaniard scored five goals and registered six assists last season, with West Ham beating off interest from other clubs for his services.
Manuel Pellegrini looks to have pulled off a real coup with the signing of the trickster.
Fornals highlighted his quality on the international stage last night. Playing for the Spain Under-21s he fired an unstoppable 89th-minute winner against Belgium.
The West Ham faithful were delighted at his latest contribution and his goal only served to enhance the optimism among the club’s supporters.
Fornals could prove to be the missing piece of the jigsaw for West Ham next season.
The club finished in 10th during 2018/19 and the challenge for Pellegrini will be to push towards a European place.
Following Fornals’ latest goal, West Ham fans took to Twitter.
