It suddenly feels as if the January transfer window could be an increasingly crucial one for West Ham United and David Moyes.
Lucas Paqueta has now joined Jarrod Bowen in the treatment room whilst Mohammed Kudus has now left for AFCON.

West Ham have lost their three most influential attackers in a matter of days, and they will surely need to react.
Given the players absent, it seems Moyes will be forced to deploy a front three of Pablo Fornals, Danny Ings and Said Benrahma against Sheffield United – a huge fall from grace.
And given West Ham have lofty ambitions both domestically and in Europe, January now looks crucial for the club.
That being said, Moyes’ side are now said to be monitoring a Championship winger, and no, it’s not Sunderland’s Jack Clarke.
According to The Standard, West Ham are now following £15m Jonathan Rowe who’s having an exceptional season for Norwich City.
Rowe has netted on 10 occasions for Norwich in their bid for promotion, leading to a lot of interest ahead of January.
West Ham consider Norwich’s Jonathan Rowe to boost January fortunes
Given all of the players they’ve lost, West Ham fans may be surprised if the club doesn’t add to Moyes’ squad in January.
And judging by Norwich’s manager, David Wagner, Rowe would be a smart acquisition for a Premier League club.

Speaking via Pink Un, Wagner said 20-year-old Rowe was a very intelligent player for his age.
Wagner said: “Yes, he scored a lot of goals. Yes, he is very young, but at the end of the day, and this is very, very good, he’s very clever in his head.
“He knows exactly that some of the recent performances were not on his level – he is better than what he has shown – and this is what we have to make sure that he performs consistently on his highest level.
“He’s a player who can be very important without ball possession as well, because he’s football intelligent, and obviously in ball possession, with his attacking threat he’s always dangerous for goals.”
It seems that West Ham could do a lot worse than Rowe in January, a player Moyes’ squad is now crying out for.
Interest in Sunderland’s Jack Clarke looks similarly smart, another profile which could fit the squad well.
Following the success of Jarrod Bowen at the club, West Ham clearly trust the idea of recruiting from the Championship.
And it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise if one of these two moves gathered pace.
