West Ham linked with Luka Jovic to bolster goalscoring options
West Ham are interested in Luka Jovic (EuroSport).
The Hammers have only got one striker at the club and they’ll surely be looking to bring in reinforcements.
That’s where Jovic comes into the picture.
The Serbian goalscorer has had a tough time at Real Madrid and is now being linked with a move away from Spain.
Both West Ham and Arsenal are being linked with a move for the player.
The Premier League could be a good destination for Jovic too.
In the Bundesliga he was electric, however, that hasn’t transferred over to La Liga.
This season alone, Jovic has only managed 21 minutes of football under Carlo Ancelotti in the league.
He’s not been able to get a break at the Bernabeu.
First Zinedine Zidane and now Ancelotti haven’t fancied Jovic and his days in the Spanish capital look numbered.
At West Ham he would be a good fit.
Michail Antonio does a great job of running the channels, pressing and making a menace of himself in the box.

Jovic has all of the traits to do just that and, like Antonio, can score with both feet and his head.
David Moyes’ side have started the season well, only losing their first game when they faced Manchester United on Sunday.
The Hammers are fighting on multiple fronts as they compete in the Europa League this season as well as domestic competitions.
With that in mind, the Irons will need to have multiple goalscorers.
Antonio is the only striker at the club and when he’s injured or suspended it gives West Ham a headache.
Jovic would eliminate that problem, and he’d cost far less than the £52.4m that Real Madrid paid for him (Sky Sports).
He looks to be a smart signing and one that the club should push to get over the line.
