West Ham have their own Grealish in classy Nikola Vlasic
Stats show Nikola Vlasic can be West Ham’s Jack Grealish.
The Hammers return to action this weekend after the international break with a trip to Goodison Park.
The Irons will be up against it when they face Everton but may find inspiration from Vlasic.
The Croatian’s stats are incredible and when he gets up to speed he could be sublime.
Comparing Vlasic to other midfielders/wingers in Europe, he comes out very well.
The West Ham man is in the top 2% of players in Europe’s top leagues for his dribble success rate (FBref).
He’s also in the top 6% for goal creating dribbles, the top 2% for key passes per 90 and even the top 1% for passes made whilst under pressure.
These numbers make Vlasic a player who greatly resembles Man City’s Jack Grealish.
Of the players who are most similar to Vlasic, Grealish comes out high.
Some other names on the list are Real Betis’ Nabil Fekir and Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic.

With underlying numbers that have Vlasic keeping that company, West Ham have a real player on their hands.
There is a point to be made that the 24-year-old still needs to settle at the London Stadium.
He’s yet to complete 90 minutes for West Ham this season.
Being a late summer signing it’s taken a while to acclimatise for Vlasic and two international breaks haven’t helped.
However, the season is a long one and there will be many opportunities for Vlasic to star.
With this weekend bringing a clash against his former club, what better time for Vlasic to shine and score a couple of goals.
It could be a good way for the Hammers to kick on this season.
After a good start, David Moyes’ side lost at home to Brentford just before the break.
A return to winning ways is just what they need and if Vlasic can deliver it then it would be further proof of his talents.
