West Ham United appear to have lost the services of talented right-back Jeremy Ngakia, who has rejected any new contract offers on the table at the club and becomes a free agent at the end of this month.
David Moyes admitted to the press the other day, as reported by Football.London, that he feels Ngakia is ‘making a mistake’ turning his back on West Ham.
But the report details how West Ham were advised to tie down Ngakia in January but did not do so. If that is the case, then West Ham look like the ones to have made a mistake.

In fact, it could be a costly one.
Plenty of teams have been linked with a move for Ngakia in recent times. Plenty of them are in England. As reported by the Daily Mail, Watford appear to be at the top of that list.
West Ham will certainly hope he does end up at an English club, as they will then be due a fair sum of compensation.
However, should one of the reported Bundesliga teams interested get their man, such as Schalke, West Ham will reportedly (Mail) receive a fixed compensation fee of just £260,000.
That would be an incredibly low sum for a player of Ngakia’s talents and during a time of global financial trouble, a bitter pill to swallow for West Ham.
