West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has given fans an update on the injury which is keeping him out of the side at present.
Stand-in stopper Roberto has struggled badly in the Pole’s absence and Fabianski told the club’s official website the latest on his absence.
He said: “I’m getting better and I’m doing more things, so hopefully it will continue like that and it will be successful. The biggest mistake in my case would be to try to rush things because there would be a big chance of it happening again so, with injuries like that, you have to be really careful about it.
“I don’t want to rush. I just want to take my time and make sure I come back in the right way, not only physically but from the goalkeeping point of view which is important.”

TBR’s View – West Ham need Fabianski back ASAP but can’t risk further complications
Roberto’s substandard performances have been so poor that Fabianski’s injury has had a hugely debilitating impact; the same as Aymeric Laporte’s at Manchester City.
That means he is needed back in the side as soon as possible but rushing him in too soon and risking a setback would be the worst possible outcome.
