West Ham face Newport County on Tuesday night in the Carabao Cup second round – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have demanded that Pablo Fornals starts the match.
The Hammers travel to League Two opposition and will be looking to avoid a cup upset against a Newport team that are unbeaten so this season.
Manuel Pellegrini’s team go into the mid-week contest off the back of beating Watford 3-1 in the Premier League and it will be intriguing to see if the manager makes wholesale changes.
A selection of West Ham supporters on social media have rallied for Fornals to be included in the starting XI.
The attacking midfielder moved to the London Stadium for £24million (BBC) from Villarreal in the summer, but is yet to make a major impact in English football.

Fornals came off the bench in the 5-0 thrashing defeat against Manchester City on the opening day and it was a debut to forget.
The Spanish 23-year-old then struggled when he started in the draw against Brighton, while he was back on the bench against Watford and only given a late cameo.
He is going to have to work hard to force his way into the XI on a permanent basis due to stiff competition and the cup may present a great opportunity.
Fornals is a talented playmaker that has a lot of potential to fulfil, but is still waiting for a catalyst to get his Irons career kickstarted.
