West Ham fans want Roberto sold amid reports of potential exit

West Ham’s goalkeeper Roberto could reportedly be replaced in January – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have agreed that they want him thrown out the London Stadium doors.

The Mirror reports that Manuel Pellegrini’s side could offload the shot-stopper in the January window and grant his exit.

It is explained that the club’s director of football Mario Husillos still has faith in the 33-year-old, but there are concerns within the club given his shocking form of late.

The experienced Spaniard has been called upon during the last month following an injury to first-choice goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, but has wasted his opportunity in Pellegrini’s team.

Roberto has conceded 12 goals in six Premier League games so far, as well as four in his two Carabao Cup appearances.

His brief time with the Hammers so far can be summed up by his display in the 3-0 defeat to Burnley on Saturday, as individual errors cost his team and damaged his reputation further.

He only completed a move in the summer on a free transfer and it looks like his future moving forward is already in doubt.

A selection of West Ham supporters on social media have given a big thumbs up to the possibility of Roberto exiting just six months into his Hammer career and don’t believe he’s good enough.
