West Ham fans urge club to sign Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount

Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount posted on Twitter – and some West Ham fans have responded by asking if he intends to join them this summer.

Mount posted on social media (official Twitter) pictures alongside West Ham ace Declan Rice, who  has been a long-term friend of his.

The 20-year-old has just returned to Chelsea following a successful loan spell in the Championship.

He scored 11 goals and supplied six assists in 44 games across all competitions for Derby County, who were beaten in the play-off finals at Wembley.

The attacking midfielder has been named in the England Under-21s squad this summer for the European Championship finals in Italy and San Marino.

A selection of West Ham fans have suggested Mount joins them this summer, after his post alongside current midfield star Rice.

Whether Mount would be available this summer remains to be seen, but he would be a great target for West Ham on either loan or permanently.

There is every chance he would enhance his growing reputation during the summer and he deserves his shot in the Premier League next year.

Chelsea have a number of talented youngsters on their books and the goalscoring midfielder is definitely one.
